This is going to be uncomfortable, but in the words of Glennon Doyle, we can do hard things.
This includes thinking and planning for the time we are no longer here (because of death or becoming incapacitated). When we combine our superpowers of planning and being intentional, we are able to give ourselves and our cherished people an incredible gift of peace (in an attractive packet at that).
When someone dies without a plan, wishes, or a guide of any sort, it is a nightmare for the person left behind to close out their stuff (or to be fancy, their estate). This is usually done by a loved one who is already bereft. The default scenario without these things in place usually involves massive amounts of time, court systems, and money. It doesn’t have to be this way if you simply plan ahead.
This workbook was made to be a buddy to your legally binding estate plans (Will, Trust, Power of Attorney, Health Care Directive). If you haven’t done that yet, this is still a great stand-alone. It will also be a good catalyst to finally get that checked off your to-do list.
This workbook is a roadmap for your loved one to navigate everything they need to. From where to find important documents, to how to access your bank accounts, to insurance/assets/liabilities, to beautiful reflections of your life.
